Betty Lee Beachy

Betty Lee (Powell) Beachy, age 72, passed away at the St Cloud Hospital on Monday, November 7, 2022. Betty was born on March 10, 1950, in Winnfield, Louisiana to Oscar & Geneva (Casey) Clark. Betty achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked in a range of nursing care, including Renal, Oncology, Post Op nursing, Clinical nursing, and Home-Health Nursing.

Betty openly shared her life with family, relatives, and friends, through poetry, calligraphy, and letter writing. She loved knitting scarves and shawls and cross-stitching creations. She loved nurturing, from her patients, to children, family and to her rose gardens. Betty had a great sense of humor that naturally drew out the best in those she loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 53 years, Mark; son, Shaun (Shannon) Beachy; mother, Geneva Clark; brother, Oscar Jr; and sister, Jennifer Leavell and her many nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her father, Oscar, and a brother Clifford.

A memorial service for Betty will be held at a later date.
