Carolyn "Lee" Doerfler

Carolyn "Lee" Doerfler, age 90, of Crosslake, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. Carolyn was born on July 9, 1933, in Minneapolis.

Lee lived a life dedicated to her faith in Jesus and telling His truth. She believed in Him and as God's only son, that he paid for her sins on the cross for her, which is the only way into Heaven. She was a truly amazing woman and mother. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Christina (Ouma) Aboge, Roni Peterson, Sherry (Greg) Marcellus, Renee Schissel, Luana (Carl) Reed, and Bruno (Lisa) Doerfler; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; children, Rick Doerfler, Steve Doerfler and Jeannie Oxborough.

A celebration of Lee's new life in Christ will be held privately with her children.
