Jon Avery

Jon B. Avery of Brainerd, formerly of Zimmerman passed away on September 24, 2020 on his 75th Birthday. He was born in Charles City, Iowa on September 24, 1945 to Frieda J. (Creger) and Bruce E. Avery. Jon retired from the MTC where he was a bus driver for 38 years. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Jeanette (Scott) VanderHeyden; son, Korey (Danielle); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amanda, Ryan, Mariah, Cassie, Sean, Jake, and Isabella; brothers, Steve, Joe, Roger, and Norman. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services for Jon will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center, 512 S. 8th Street in Brainerd.
