Lee R Hoggatt

Lee Richard Hoggatt, 85 year old resident of Staples, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Lee was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Was born on May 21st 1939 to Lee and Leona Hoggatt. Lee grew up in Anoka Mn where he went to school. Lee traveled a lot through his life from state to state. Lee worked many different jobs from working on the railroad to machinist to silversmithing and his last job was at Costco in Baxter, Mn. Lee married his wife LeeAnn (Conzet) Hoggatt, they were married in Buffalo, Mn on November 28th, 1987. They had two lovely children Heather Hoggatt and Johnny Hoggatt. Lee was blessed with 3 lovely grandchildren, Logan, Benjamin, and Aven.

Lee moved his family to Staples, MN in 1999. Lee was liked in the community where they had started the Snack Shop, they closed the store in Feb. of 2019. Lee then worked at Costco as a food server/sampler. Lee was liked at his job because he could sell anything like ice cubes to Eskimos.

Lee is preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters and a brother. Lee will be missed very much from his wife, and his children and grandchildren.

Services for Lee will be held on November 30, 2024 at the Motley Free Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be served following the service.
