Leo Linn Girard

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life in Leo's honor on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Crow Wing Town Hall. (6930 Cuyuna Avenue, Brainerd, MN)

Leo Linn Girard, age 68, of Barrows, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Leo was born in Pine River to Orville & Glava (Wynn) Girard on May 27, 1956.

Leo is survived by his son, Lee Girard; stepdaughter, Jackie Fleisher; siblings, Don, Frank, Deb, Charlene, Marlene and Darlene; grandson, Eli. Leo loved being a grandfather, Eli was the absolute highlight of his life.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy, and a twin brother; and significant other, Jeanne Barenz. Leo will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
