Mariann (Johnson) Enfield age 83, of Brainerd, passed away on March 1, 2020 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born April 5, 1936 in Fosston, Minnesota to Alvina (Gudvangen) and Oscar Johnson. Mariann grew up in rural Fosston and attended rural Lade School graduating from Fosston High School in 1954 and then moving to Brainerd. She was united in marriage to Jack D. Enfield at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She worked for the Brainerd Public Utilities for 39 years and retired January 7, 1994. Member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 255, and Life Member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1647. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brothers, Floyd and Larry Johnson; sister, Elaine Westre; brother-in-law, Erling Westre; She will be deeply missed by her son, Joseph (Kelli) Enfield; grandchildren, Alec (Liz) and Hayley (Thomas) Fadden; great grandchildren, Eloise and Jack; sisters-in-law, Lois Johnson Brown; Cleone Johnson; also nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mariann will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Mark Skinner officiating.
