Robert Gordon Newell

Robert Gordon Newell, age 85 of Baxter, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Essentia-St Joseph’s Medical Center. Bob was born on January 14, 1937, in Minneapolis to Howard & Jane (Wright) Newell. He married Joyce Nygren on August 31, 1956, in Minneapolis. Together they raised 5 beautiful children.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gayle (Gilbert) Perry, Thomas, Robert and Linda Newell; grandchildren, Dustin (Sara) Perry, Danielle (David) Perry, Jeremy (Jessica) Perry and Bryce (Jamee)Newell; great grandchildren, Jorden, Faith, Andrew, Ashton, Haleejay, Avaya, Korben, Alexis, Mason, Bryce Jr., Airaja, Freya, Kruise, Olivia and Jeremy Jr.

Preceding Bob in death are his parents, beloved wife, Joyce; son, James; granddaughter, Breanna; siblings: Marie, George and Howard.

Funeral Services for Bob will be held at Oak Street Chapel, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 11AM. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment in Hermantown at Sunrise Cemetery, on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 1PM
