Angela Holbrook

Angela Holbrook, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Angie was born on March 28, 1936, to Maynard and Grace (Gervino) LeDoux.

She spent many years working at a garment factory, as a home health care worker, an Avon representative and as a school cook. No matter where she was, Angie was known for her kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and friendly smile. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for.

Angela enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, listening to music, dancing, playing the mandolin, having garage sales and searching for treasures garage sailing. Angie was a wonderful cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her sister Mari Hale, children Bruce (Diana) Holbrook, Lisa (Vic) Mars, Kelley Holbrook, grandkids, Kaci Holbrook, Sacha (Josh) Larson, Kyle (Meleah) Holbrook, David (BreAnn) Mars, Monica (Jamie) Larson, Sean Holbrook, and 11 great grandkids, and many extended family

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Phil Holbrook and 5 siblings.

She will be remembered for her favorite saying when asked, “how are you doing?” She always responded, “it’s gotta go.”

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday June 18, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brainerd.
