Arleen Elliott

Arleen Lucille Elliot, age 80, of Brainerd, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Arleen was born on May 5, 1940 in Plummer, MN to John & Dorothea (Snow) Polson. She married the love of her life, A. Boyd Elliott on October 31, 1959. The marriage was blessed with two daughters. Arleen had a servant’s heart. She gave endless hours volunteering in the community. She could be found on any given day at St Joseph’s Hospital, The Center or First Lutheran Church. Arleen greeted everyone with a smile. In 2015 Arleen was honored with Crow Wing County’s Volunteer of the year. Arleen is survived by her daughters, Jonette (Tom) Tschida, and Arliss (Terry) Opatz; grandchildren, Jon (Samantha) Tschida, Kelcie (Casey) Neumann, Kevin (Cassondra) Opatz, and Lindsay (Scott) Plewka; 6 great-grandchildren; brother Eugen Polson; sister, Kathleen (Frank) Polson-Adams. Arleen is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Boyd; sisters, Ellen Moline, Mary Smith, Shirley Block and Joan Lewandowski; brother, Benjamin Polson. Services for Arleen will be private. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery
