Arnold Raymond Leckband

Arnold Raymond Leckband, age 92, formerly of Brainerd, passed away in McKinney Texas on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Arnie was born in Hutchinson to Erwin & Esther (Sitz) Leckband. Arnie served his county in the US Army from 1949-1956. Arnie was a police officer for many years in Pelican Lakes and Crow Wing County.

After retirement, Arnie enjoyed buying & collecting old cars, and reconditioning them, selling them. He liked tinkering in the garage, driving his Corvettes, and high-speed driving on the SCCA fast tracks! Arnie loved his two boys Eric and Aron, watching them in sports, and grow to be great fathers!

He is proceeded in death by parents, Erwin M & Ester O Leckband; sister, Bunny Ostland (Humphrey).

Arnie is survived by his sons, Eric and Aron; six grandchildren: Lex, Aiden, Stokes, Scottie, Sutton and Sumner; sister, Maggie (Judge Robert) Ryan.

He will be laid to rest at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
