Bessie Pearl Clews, age 84, of Staples, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Bessie was born on September 23, 1937, in Appleton, Minnesota to Glen & Bernice (Sprague) Mills. She married Earl Clews.
Bessie is survived by her son, Larry Clew; daughter, LuAnn (Charles) Braford; brother, Louis Mills; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; grandson, Christopher; brothers: Lee, Loren, Lloyd and Lyle; sister, Blanche Bailey.
A celebration of Life for Bessie will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1-5PM at Pine Grove Park in Staples.
