Betty Jean Olson

Betty Jean Olson went home to the Lord on May 15, 2024, at Green Pine Acres in Menahga MN. Betty Jean Olson was born on June 10, 1928, to John Martin Thorin and Laura (Larson) in Brainerd MN. Betty Graduated from Brainerd High school in 1946 and St Cloud State College. She taught kindergarten in Riverton than St. Paul until her retirement. Betty married Leonard (Len) Olson on June 28, 1950, at Lake Hubert MN. Betty enjoyed bowling, visiting friends, especially her South Long Lake birthday group and her cups of coffee. She will be missed by special friends Pam & Dennis Thomsen and Carol & Stu Zell.

Services for Betty will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
