Bonita Branstad

Bonita “Bonnie” Branstad passed away on March 17, 2021 at Edgewood Vista, in Brainerd. Bonnie was born on May 2, 1933 in Norwood, Minnesota to Russell & Mildred (Phillips) Mellgren. She married F. Lowell Branstad, and together had three children. Bonnie is survived by her sons, Randy (Lee) Branstad, Dwayne (Renae) Branstad; seven grandchildren, Tony Quinn, Dan Branstad, Andrea Branstad, Jesse Branstad, Ashely Branstad, Shannon Anderson and Justin Olson; 17 greatgrandchildren, Ruby, Ryder, Rosie, Shaylee, Sommer, Carter, Bentlee, Anayaih, Liam, Kyriese, Cal, Noah, Aubrey, Evalyn, Mathias, Maverick and Huxley. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Lowell; daughter, Cindy Olson; brothers Russel and Robert. Funeral Services for Bonnie will be private.
