Bonita Elaine King

Bonita Elaine King, age 79, of Brainerd, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Essentia-St Joseph’s Medical Center. Bonnie was born in Brainerd on March 24, 1943, to Quinn & Hazel (Erickson) Anthony. She married Dwight King.
Bonnie grew up on a farm and was an animal lover. She enjoyed Rodeo’s when she was younger. In her later years, she like to play computer games. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Todd Strong and Bradley (Jerelyn Hopkins) Koop; daughter, Gayle (Kenneth) Kerrigan; sister, Terry Peck;7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly; brother, Robert Anthony; husband, Dwight; grandson, Adam.
A funeral service for Bonnie will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment at Oakland Cemetery.
