Bradley Langerman

Bradley “Brad” Langerman 

December 20, 1947 – August 15, 2026

Brad was born on December 20, 1947, in Brainerd, to Ronald and Carol “Lois” (Foote) Langerman. He moved to Great Falls, Montana, when he was six weeks old. He grew up riding horses and camping in the mountains. His family moved back to Brainerd when he was 13 years old. Brad continued his education and Golden Gloves boxing.

He joined the Marine Corps when he was 20 and traveled to Puerto Rico for underwater training. He then went to Fort Bragg in North Carolina for jump school and reconnaissance training. Brad continued boxing while stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

After the military, Brad returned to Minneapolis, where he started a construction company that he successfully operated for 53 years. Brad raised six children and loved his family dearly. He spent many hunting seasons in Wyoming with his sons, grandsons, brother, and nephews. He also enjoyed an African safari hunting trip. Brad loved fishing, golfing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Carol and Cheryl (Charlie); his children, Eric (Kelly), Stacy (Blaine), Jason (Camy), Brad “BG,” and Nicole (James); his stepchildren, Obie (Debra), Sonny (Jill), and Ben; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ronnie Langerman and Denny Langerman; and his son, David Langerman.

A memorial service will be held on August 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Halverson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, Minnesota, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
