Brian Eugene Kohl

Brian E. Kohl, age 56, of Brainerd, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at St Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls. Brian was born in Brainerd on May 17, 1968, to Duane & Sharon (Allord) Kohl.

Brian graduated from Brainerd High School with the class of 1987. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and fishing. Brian was a welder in Rice at Virnig until 2005. He was always willing to drop everything and help a friend or family member, even a complete stranger.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cameron Moser and Hailey (Tyler) Bourgeois; father, Duane Kohl; siblings, Michelle Kohl and Kevin Kohl; grandchildren, Alison Moser and Hunter Bourgeois.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; son, Jordan Kohl; nephew, August Kohl; siblings, JoAnn Witt, Doug Kohl, Wendy Lindberg and Kimberly Kohl.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 2-5PM at Daggett Brook Town Hall (15293 County Road 2, Brainerd, MN 56401).
