Carolyn Foss

Carolyn Dolores Foss, age 76, of Anoka, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at home, with her husband of 56 years, Roger, by her side. Carolyn was born in Milaca, Minnesota on August 23rd, 1943, to Dolores and Eldore Steinbrecher. She married the love of her life, Roger, and together they had 3 daughters. Carolyn loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, travel, going to her grandchildren’s activities and being active in her church. She left a special mark on everyone who knew her. She was quite a personality – full of wit and humor. Carolyn will be forever missed by her husband of 56 years, Roger; children: Andrea (George) of St. Louis Park, MN, Maria (Brian) of Nisswa, MN ; 4 grandchildren; Lilia, Brahim, Olivia and Sami; mother, Dolores Steinbrecher; brothers, John (Mary Jane) Steinbrecher, Mark Steinbrecher, and Paul (Sharon) Steinbrecher. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela and her father, Eldore. Funeral service for Carolyn will be held Friday, September 20th , 2019 at 11am at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S. 4th Ave, Anoka. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19th from 5-7pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Zion Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
