Cheryl Ann Richmond

Cheryl Ann Richmond, age 67 of Pillager, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2024, at her home.

She was born to Beatrice (Quast) and Garfield Salvog on December 24, 1956, in Buffalo, Minnesota.

She married Walter Richmond in Brainerd, Minnesota on September 21, 1974. In September they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage. Together they raised three children. Cheryl’s hobbies included quilting, knitting, and being a seamstress.

Memorial services for Cheryl will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her husband, Walt; children Danielle (Jim) Shaw, Tony (Kelly) Richmond, and Kyle (Sara) Richmond; grandchildren, Kaylee and Mackenzie Shaw, Taylor, Chase, Macie, Ryder, Wyatt, Jack and Clark Richmond; brother, Coleman Salvog; sisters, Shirley Hardy and Charlotte (Mark) Cole.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Garfield; brother, Gordon Salvog; and Walt’s parents, Burt and Ruth Richmond.
