Dale Frank Roberts

Dale Frank Roberts, age 88, of Baxter, passed away at Essentia - St. Joseph’s Medical Center on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Dale was born on October 12, 1935, to Fray & Avangaline (Tracy) Roberts. He married the love of his life, Joan Sumstad on June 30, 1956, in Minneapolis.

Dale served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. His favorite pastimes were woodworking, camping and spending time with his lifelong friends.

Left to cherish are his beloved wife of 67 years, Joan; daughters and sons-in-law; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Delores Mahan and Sharon Roberts.

A memorial service for Dale will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 12PM at Good Shephard Lutheran Church. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
