Dan Arthur Brown

Dan Arthur Brown, age 76, of Motley, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Lakewood Health System. Dan was born on February 15, 1947, in Brainerd to Edward and Myrtle (Phillips) Brown.

He served his country in the US Army for 22 years. Dan was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Germany, Alaska, Colorado, Tennessee, Fort Knox and Fort Carson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, fixing cars, racing cars and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie; children, Jerry Joslin, and Toma Jane Brown; stepchildren, Bart, Wayne, Brenda and Lynn; siblings, Karen Rogers Crider, Doris Brown Berndt, Mavis Rogers Sarver; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Edward Brown, Myrtle Phillips, Donald Rogers, Phyllis Rogers, Alvin Rogers, Neva Rogers; son Jeff Joslin.

Memorial service for Dan will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 2PM at Motley Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
