Danny Edward Powers

Danny Edward Powers, age 69 of Wadena passed away at his home on January 6, 2024. Danny was born in Longview, Texas on March 18, 1954, to Holly (Taylor) and Earl Powers. He married Therese (Terry) Naubert on January 8, 2002, in Wadena, Minnesota.

A celebration of life for Danny will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.

Danny will be deeply missed by his wife Terry; children, Ben (Aimee) Powers, Bernie (Clint) Mertes, Daniel (Sam Watson) Powers, Lorraine (Ron) Bauer, Linda (Brad) Collins, Michelle (Dean) Tichonuk, Maryanne (Kevin Mould) Kozoriz; grandchildren, Gage, Shelby, Lexi, Brandon, Alex, Evea, William, Max, Ella, Evie, Christopher, Carter, Zane, Amanda, Jack, Aidan, Matthew, Samatha, Cassandra; great grandchildren, Morgan, Charlee and Atlas; sisters, Donna Cox and Liz Chandler-Hill; nephews, Danny Wayne Schegsted and Aaron Frank.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margie; nephew, Terry; also aunts and uncles.
