Darlene R Fuhrer

Darlene Ruth (Beach) Fuhrer passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. She will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend.

Darlene was born in Brainerd, MN on August 7, 1946, to Harold and Viola Beach. Eventually, Darlene became the middle sister of 13 children.

Darlene was united in marriage to Leo Fuhrer until his death in 2009. The couple made their home in the Brainerd lakes area, where, together, they proudly raised five children.

Throughout her life, Darlene enjoyed painting, crafting, watching football, the races and her stories, cooking, shopping, and studying her Bible. Her favorite times were spent with her family and friends, especially her kids and grandkids. Whether falling victim to her sons’ practical jokes, laughing at jokes and videos she didn’t understand, or watching movies and cartoons with the grandkids, she was most happy just being with those she loved and who loved her back.

Darlene is survived by her children, Chad (Jamie) Bestul, Becky (Troy) Thompson, Erik (Stacie) Fuhrer, Josh (Haiden) Fuhrer, and Andrew (Alicia) Fuhrer; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her siblings, Kenny (Ingrid) Beach and Carol (Gary) Hines; and many, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service for Darlene will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 3PM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation one hour prior.
