David James Lundgren

David James Lundgren, age 70, of Brainerd, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Dave was born in Minneapolis to Kenneth & Marilyn (Filmore) Lundgren. He married the love of his life, Kathy Saxvold and together they raised 3 children. Dave was a mechanic and operated his own shop. He loved the Lord, and he and Kathy were very active in their church, Lakewood. Dave was a carefree spirit with an infectious smile, he was always happy, truly a great man. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a proud Papa.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kathy; children: Justin (Christy) Lundgren, Sarah (Dwayne) Bergsnev and Ryan (Faith Gotmer) Lundgren; siblings: Mary (John) Bergquest and John (Jill) Lundgren; 4 grandchildren: Jonah, Ethan, Grace and Eleanor.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Paul Lundgren.

A memorial service for Dave will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11AM Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in . Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
