Deanne M Tessmer

Deanne Marie Tessmer, age 81 of Pillager, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2025. She graduated from Pillager High School in 1961 and after spending two years in college, she began her career in banking at The First National Bank of Brainerd. In 1991, she moved to American National Bank of Minnesota where she continued to work until she retired in mid-2007. She lived in Brainerd for 44 years before moving to her hometown of Pillager in 2011.

Deanne had many hobbies, such as traveling, music, arts & crafts, knitting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Violet Tessmer; brother, William Tessmer, Sr.; brother-in-law Wesley Maust; aunts, uncles and many friends, which include her beloved four-legged fur babies Oliver, Taffy & Gretchen.

She is survived by her sister, Eileen Maust of Pillager; brother, James Tessmer of Hastings; six nieces and two nephews.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family in May.
