Dee Ann Davidson

Dee Ann (Doub) Davidson - 85, of Crosby, Minnesota passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024. She was born on November 18, 1938, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Deward H. Doub and Lucille (Cook) Doub.

Dee grew up in South Bend, Indiana, and later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend Butler University and graduated in 1960. Dee majored in education and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

While at Butler, Dee met Duncan "Dunc" Campbell Davidson, and the two were united in marriage in South Bend on November 26, 1960. They shared 59 years of love and companionship until Duncan’s passing on April 6, 2019. Their residences and work spanned several states throughout the Midwest including Carmel, Indiana, Morton, Illinois, and Plymouth, Minnesota.

Dee's life embodied a servant's heart, dedicated to teaching and early childhood education, service to others, and cultivating lifelong friendships. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother. She found joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dee was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith.

Dee is survived by her son, Dan Davidson, and his wife, Wendy, of Baxter, Minnesota. Her legacy lives on through her five grandchildren: Josh (Allison Thorne), Zach and Luke Davidson, Sam Walker, and Katie Yoo (Bi). Dee will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Elliot and Julian.

There will be a private family ceremony to celebrate Dee's life at a later date.
