Delores Watson

Delores M. Watson, 86 year old resident of Deerwood, MN passed away October 18, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Garrison Alliance Church in Garrison, MN. Visitation will be held from 9-11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Garrison Alliance Church in Garrison, MN. Burial will take place in the Bay Lake Cemetery near Deerwood, MN. Caring for Delores and her family is the Halvorson-Taylor Funeral Home, in Brainerd, MN.

Delores was born on April 14, 1938 in Brainerd, MN to the late Mathias and Clara (Halvorson) Matson. She is survived by sons, Terrance Watson and Kerwin (Teresa) Watson; brother Melvin (Suzie) Watson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Delores had a special love and thanks for her nieces, Peggy (John) McKay, Judy (Pat) Misener, Pam (Bob) Lemonds. You girls have been like daughters through life for aunt Dilly. Also special acknowledgement to Dilly's very special friends Alan Petrusson and Dianna Bjornsen.

She was preceded in death by parents, Mathias and Clara Matson; husband, Carl Watson; son, Kim Watson and Tyrone Watson; siblings, Rosella Matson, Clarine Sanders, Ardis Larson, Carlyle Matson and Julius Matson.
