Dolores Marie Lindner

Dolores Marie Lindner, of Brainerd MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home on December 10, 2024. Dolores was born to Russell and Marie (Kisselburg) Hakes in Chicago, IL on May 3, 1936. In 1956, Dolores married Ronald Lindner. They had seven children and a lifelong love that impacted many people. Dolores was a wonderful matriarch who filled her home with love, warmth and kindness. Her steadfast faith was the foundation of her life. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dolores was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband, Ron and their son, Michael.

She is survived by her two brothers, Richard (Sonja) Hakes, Lombard IL and Robert (Lucy) Hakes of Oak Park IL; her children, William (Kay), James (Jorie), Kim Lindner-Slagter (Robert), Dawn, Lisa (Billy) Hoffs, Daniel (Alissa); fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd, on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 12:00PM. Visitation starting at 11:30AM. Refreshments will follow.
