Donna Eue

Donna J. Eue age 91 of Brainerd passed away on March 6, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd. She was born February 24, 1928 to Nettie (Chisholm) and Buster Gibson in Brainerd, Minnesota. Donna is retired from the Brainerd State Hospital where she was the Dining Hall Manager from January 1962 until June of 1990. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sandra (Marion) Jacobson, Susan Shir; son, Donnie (Becky Berry) Eue; grandchildren, Jessie Eue, Kristy Fredstrom, Jenny Eue, Heather Saleen, Angie Jacobson, Nick Eue; numerous great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; sister, Sally Coolley; brother, Mike Gibson; sister-in-law, JoAnn Hoggarth; brother-in-law, John Holsapple. A funeral service for Donna will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home, 512 South 8th Street in Brainerd with visitation from 9:30-11:00am prior to the service. Internment Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eue; son, James Eue; daughter, Patricia Eue; grandson, John Jacobson; granddaughter Stacy Fredstrom; sisters, Judy Molina and Janice Holsapple; brother, Pat Gibson. Donna’s family would like to give a special thank you to Stacy Henkemeyer and Kandi Anderson from Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
