Doris Lorraine Pribbenow

Doris Lorraine Pribbenow, age 88, of Staples, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. Doris was born in Pillager on October 26, 1933, to Karel & Clara (Quade) Holub. She married the love of her life, George Pribbenow in Staples in 1955.
Doris taught school all over the state, ending up in Motley. She taught for a total of 43 years. Her students were her children. Doris and George did everything together, traveling, flying and fishing were their favorite things to do. They wintered in Arizona for 20 years. She loved raising Sheltie’s.
Doris is survived by nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Goldie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, George.
A funeral service for Doris will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 11AM at Taylor Funeral Home in Staples. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
