Doris Ann Sievek

Doris Ann Sievek, 95, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. Born on September 10, 1929, in Redwood Falls, MN. Doris was the daughter of Guy and Amy (Keller) Manning.

On September 25, 1947, she married Don Sievek, Doris once stated, of all the decisions she made in her lifetime, the best one was marrying her husband, Don. Together they raised three children in a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Doris devoted her life to her family, creating a home where everyone felt welcome. Her greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother. She was the heart of every family gathering, always making sure everyone was fed, cared for, and loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steve (Carol) of Brainerd, Kim (Marilyn) of Brainerd; grandchildren: Lisa (Ty) Olson, Jeff (Leslie) Sievek, Anna (Jon) Larson, Rebecca (Isaac) Wales, Katie (Gary Mudgett) Bahma, Kellie (Jim) Guida, Marti Sievek; 16 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; her daughter, Michele Bahma; her son, Paul; and her sister, Florence.

A memorial service for Doris will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.
