Eugene Wayne Carlson, age 68, of Brainerd, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Essentia-St Joseph’s Medical Center. Gene was born on December 8, 1954, in Moose Lake to Frederick & Catherine (Costello) Carlson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy; children: Nathaniel (Erin) Carlson, Dalton Schalz and Owen Carlson; siblings: Kay Heittola, Sharon Carlson, Patricia Andrle, Kennard Carlson, Lennard Carlson, Craig Carlson, Sylvia (Mike) Anderson, Dan Carlson and Debbie (Karl) Kiemel; grandchildren: Natalie, Peyton, Kelsey and Kaitlin.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents; son, Nicholas; and daughter, Emily.
