Eunice Elaine Holgate

Eunice Elaine (Gade) Holgate passed away peacefully in her home in Staples, MN on July 19, 2021. She was born to Edward H. H. Gade II and Louise E. Wunnenberg on Sept. 7, 1946 in Amery, WI. She was a graduate of Concordia College in St. Paul, MN, and worked both as a teacher in private schools and Kindercare and as a bookkeeper for the P.J. Gaughan Company. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth R Holgate Sr, and her parents. She is survived by her step-children that she loved as her own: Kenny Jr. (Pam) Holgate of Wolf Lake, MN, Korine (Mike) Leonard of Livingston, TX and Kyle (Teri) Holgate of Hinckley, MN. Her siblings: Edward III (Sandy) Gade of Oshkosh, WI, Dean (Joan) Gade of Ukiah, CA, Paul Gade of Dillworth, MN, Lois Hill of Appleton, WI and Richard (Theresa) Gade of Plymouth, MN, sister-in-law Georgine (Dick) Holland of Minnetonka, Mn., 6 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews.
