Gregory Allen Anderson, Sr.

Gregory Allen Anderson, Sr, age 77, of Brainerd, passed away at Northern Lakes Assisted Living in Baxter on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Greg was born in Bertha, MN on October 24, 1947, to Cecil & Ada (Carter) Anderson. He married Mary Kostas, and they raised four children.

Greg worked for New York Life for over 45 years, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the lake, he was an avid bowler and coached youth bowling for many years. He is even a member of the Brainerd bowlers hall of fame. But most importantly, he will always be remembered as the nicest man you will ever know. He will truly be missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Greg, Jr (DeAnna), Michael, Sara (Jim) Loschko and Brett; siblings, Sheila (Bill) Jenne, Sharon Nygaard, Mona (John) Velebir, Eli (Koni) Anderson, Tammy (Bruce) Biddick, Debbie Erickson and Kim (Ron) Fleming; grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle Wiese) O’Hotto, Eric Loschko, Jack Loschko, Jordyn Anderson and Peyton Anderson; many nieces and nephews.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Mary; brother, Mark Anderson; sister Carol Hunter.

Funeral service for Greg will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation one hour before the service. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
