Harley Emmett Niles

Harley Emmitt Niles, age 87, of Merrifield, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Harley was born in Brainerd on March 26, 1935, to Leon and Evelyn (Berg) Niles. He married Judy Parker on April 19, 1986.

Harley was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Merrifield. He worked for Potlatch and The Lions Park and was always helping at the church and around the neighborhood. He had a great sense of humor and was a proud US Air Force Veteran.

Harley is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Judy; children: Robynn (Ed) Sunquist, Charlene Niles and Gary Paschell; siblings: Glen “Benny” Niles and Cheryl Mueller; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Harley is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leland, Jerome and Donald.

A memorial service for Harley will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11AM at Church of the Nazarene in Merrifield. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
