Jacqueline J. Huber, 93 year old resident of Brainerd, MN passed away, Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Bethany Care Center in Brainerd, MN. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Halvorson-Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN. A visitation will be held from 11-12:00 P.M. on Friday at the Halvorson-Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery in Brainerd, MN. Caring for Jacqueline and her family is the Halvorson-Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN.

Jacqueline Joyce Scheper was born on December 22, 1930 in Hartford, South Dakota to the late Clarence and Helen (Gabel) Scheper. She grew up and attended school in Sioux Falls, SD. On May 10, 1951, Jacqueline married Jerry Huber. They moved to Lubbock, Texas where Jerry was stationed in the service. After his service and honorable discharge, the couple made their home on South Long Lake in Brainerd where Jackie resided there until 2020. Jackie worked at Camp Lincoln/Lake Hubert in Nisswa and at the Giant Wash in Brainerd for many years. In the summer, you would find Jackie outside tending to her beautiful flowers, weeding her garden or filling her bird feeders. In the winter months, Jackie loved to sit in her spear house fishing. She loved music of all kinds and would always have her music on while whipping up a batch of her famous cinnamon rolls. Most of all, Jackie loved being at home, and spending time with her family. She made friends with everyone she met. Jackie was a kind, caring person who loved people. She is now reunited with her family and lifelong best friend, JoAnn Gangstad.

Jackie is survived by her children, Vicki Keller, Terry (Shannon) Huber, Wendy (Kevin) Neugebauer; daughter-in-law, Karen Huber; grandchildren, Troy (Stephanie) Huber, Trevor (Wendy) Huber, Heather (James) Addison, Nathan Huber, Shane (Megan) Huber, Jesse (Jill) Huber, Sara Huber, Cory Neugebauer, Stephanie (Jake) Eastman and 8 great-grandchildren.

Jacki was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen Scheper; husband, Jerry; son, Rick; infant daughter, Tracy and son-in-law, Dwight Crist.
