Jacqueline (Jackie) J Brown

Jacqueline (Jackie) J. Brown, an 83-year-old resident of Brainerd, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd. Jackie was born in Perham, Minnesota on September 3, 1941, to Lee (Meyer) and Rudy Faber. She married Dale "Pat" Brown in 1961. Together they raised 3 children. She worked at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN as a support nurse in the pediatric unit and was a paraprofessional at MLC in Brainerd until she retired.

She enjoyed going for drives, playing cards, bingo, reading mysteries, gardening, camping, fishing, collecting antiques (especially Red Wing stoneware & pottery), attending auctions and yard sales, shopping for clothes and cooking for family and friends!

Jackie’s greatest treasure was her family! She always spoke of them with much love and great pride. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chantel (Joey Chavez) Howard, Curt Brown, Christa (Shawn) Hayes; sibling, Charles (Celine) Faber; grandchildren, Colton, Stayton, Cayden, Alivia, Annie, Hunter and Landon; great granddaughter, Brighton.

Jackie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial services for Jackie will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
