James Henry Wills, age 83, of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Jim was born on March 30, 1943, in Norway, Michigan, to William and Eleanor (Douglas) Wills. Whether outdoors enjoying nature or spending time with family, Jim appreciated life’s simple pleasures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eleanor Wills; his sister, Nancy Chellew and his brother, Peter.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy; his step-daughters, Jodi Hartwig and Jill (Jason) Ostendorf; and his four cherished grandchildren, Nick, Cameron, Megan, and Katlyn.
