James Allen Wilson

James Allen Wilson, age 82, of Merrifield, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Jim was born in Ortonville on December 2, 1942, to Clifford & Verna (Schroeder) Wilson. He served his country in the United States Army for 4 years. He worked at Potlatch for 42 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 33 years, Mary; 3 sisters; 7 children; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a niece.

Funeral service for Jim will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
