Jane Hines

Jane Marie Hines, 73, of Brainerd, died March 20th 2021 in Woodland Good Samaritan Care Center in Brainerd MN. A Memorial service will be on March 26th 11AM, with Visitation 10AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center, 512 S 8th St. Brainerd. Burial will be at a later date in the Macville Cemetery, Swatara, MN. Jane was born in Aitkin MN on March 7th 1948 to Lloyd and Leona (Blaszak) Frovold of Swatara MN. She belonged to St James Church in Swatara, receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. She attended school in Swatara. Jane married Victor Hines November 1976 and lived in Brainerd all their married life. They so loved and cared for each other. Jane enjoyed visiting with friends and family, playing cards, embroidering pillow cases and giving them as gifts to many family and friends. Jane is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Kennedy. Jane is survived by husband Victor, sister Judy (Elverd) Torkelson, and sister-in-law Joyce Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, Aunt Agnes Blaszak and many cousins.
