Janet Swanson

Janet Carol Swanson, 81, daughter of Walter and Okla Kretzman, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Essential Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Janet was born on February 25, 1940. She is survived by her 5 children: Susan Roberts, Deanne Churchill, Nancy, Brian, and Jed Swanson; sister, Lolagene; 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Janet was also survived by the love of her life, Edward Ebinger of 45 glorious years. She enjoyed being at home in the country with Ed and their many animals they had over the years. She liked to watch and feed the wild birds, squirrels, fox, and deer that would visit the house every day. Janet worked at St. Joseph Medical Center and Cragun’s Resort many years ago. Most recently she was a Senior Companion to the kids at the Fun ‘n Friends program. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. There will be a Celebration of Life get together later this summer of 2021 for family and friends.
