Janice Schmidt

Janice Marie Schmidt, age 76, of Brainerd, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 27, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with MS. Janice was born on June 4, 1943 in Brainerd to Gerald & Maude (Roberts) Stanley. She married Donald Schmidt in March of 1962, together they have 2 children. Janice enjoyed watching the birds, listening to music and playing Bingo. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Donald; daughter, Pam (Stephan) Winterfeldt; son, Alan (Joelle) Schmidt; brothers, Mark (Gale) Stanley and Terry (Chico) Stanley; grandson, Greg (Crystal) Schmidt. Janice is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service for Janice will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1PM at Bethany Good Samaritan Society Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30PM-1PM. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
