Jessica Sommers

Jessica Joy Sommers age 41 of Brainerd, passed away On July 12, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was born September 27, 1978 in Fridley, MN to Debra and Rodney Sommers. She will be deeply missed by her High School Sweetheart, Joshua Getty; children, Alexis Sommers-Getty, Bryson Bassett, Madelynn Getty, and Gabrielle Getty; grandchildren, Maverick and Elliannah Jensen; parents, Deb and Rod; sister, Tanya Ryappy. Jessica enjoyed family time and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping others and bringing smiles to other people’s faces. She loved decorating for every holiday especially Halloween that was her favorite. She loved spending Saturday's garage saling and antique hunting. She loved rock shows and agate picking. She never missed an opportunity to dress up and show off her unique style. A Celebration of Jessica’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at the Riverside Union Church in Brainerd with Pastor Harvey Peterson, Officiating.
