John Jeremy Guin

John Jeremy Guin, age 48, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, who loved him greatly on October 28, 2024, at Essentia- St Joseph’s Medical Center. Johnny was born in Brainerd on June 14, 1976, to Buzz and Cindy (Franzen) Guin.

Johnny was an amazing father to his son, Miles. He loved his family. He cherished his friends and good times talking about fishing and sports. Fishing was in his blood! His favorite place to be was in a boat with his dad. He was a member of Northerns, Inc. and Rod Benders Fishing League. Johnny had the best sense of humor and the biggest hugs.

Johnny is survived by his son, Miles Guin; mother, Cindy (Franzen) Guin; sister, Wendy (Rob) Anthony; brother, Mike (Lori) Guin; uncles, Mike Guin and Mike (Rosemary) Franzen; auntie, Kathy Rakow; nieces, Kencie Keeler, Samantha (Matt) Ludowese, Hannah (Tanner) Miles and Cheyenne Anthony; nephew, Joey Anthony; great-nieces, Brynlee, Ella and Hazel; great-nephews, Sutter, Archer and Reese.

Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Buzz Guin; grandparents, Gust and Marcelline Franzen and Mike and Lottie Guin.
