Joseph P Gherity

JoJo passed at home on Aug 1, 2022 and will be buried at Fort Snelling at a later date. There will be a memorial on August 13th, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm (Eulogy 2:30pm) at Crosby Bible Baptist Church , 515 w main street and another at Como Conservatory 1225 Estabrook Dr St Paul, MN on Aug 17th, 2022 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm (Eulogy 7:00 pm) in the sunken garden room.


JoJo is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Survived by Beverly Ann Bass & Jerrold Bass (mom and stepdad), Joe Gherity (dad), Victoria (Key) Livingston & Kevin Brist (sister and brother-in-law) his nieces (Mercedes (Sadie) Livingston and Abbe Brist) and his nephews (Alex Livingston and Aaron Brist) and Shelly Bass (stepsister).

JoJo had many hobbies and talents that included camping, woodworking, gardening, drawing, Harry Potter, dragons, snakes, frogs, dungeons and dragons, cooking and smoking.

JoJo graduated from Como Park high school in 1987. He spent two years in the Army which included a stint in Korea, he also went to St Paul Tech for welding and to Cordon Bleu for cooking.
