Karen Ann Claveau, 78, of Lake Shore, MN passed away on July 30, 2026.
Karen was the wife of Thomas Claveau. They shared nearly 56 years of marriage together.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, she was the daughter of Sigfred and Gladys Kent. She was a graduate of Anoka High School and St. Barnabus Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to proudly work as a Registered Nurse and manager of nurses during her career.
Karen was the kindest and most loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She loved going on cruises and traveled to many parts of the world with Tom and her family. She also enjoyed attending church, going on boat rides, fishing off the dock, baking and gardening. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and truly enjoyed watching them grow up.
She is survived by husband Thomas, son Dustin (Cristina), daughter Nicole, grandson Anthony, granddaughters Liliana and Josephine, sister Sandra (George) and brother Steve (Diane).
She was preceded in death by her father Sigfred, her mother Gladys and her son Thomas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 7, 2026, at 12:00pm at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Jim Walth officiating. There will be a visitation beginning at 11:00am. Lunch will be served following the service.
