Kenneth Michael Lingenfelter

Kenny Lingenfelter, 83 year old resident of Staples, MN passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at Lakewood Care Center in Staples, MN. A Celebration of Kenneth's life will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples, MN with a gathering of family and friends from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Caring for Kenneth and his family is the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples, MN.

Kenneth was born on June 12, 1940 in Olivia, MN to the late Cecil Wayne and Elaine (Grasser) Lingenfelter. He grew up and attended school in Danube, MN. He was employed by the City of Staples for many years as a municipal lineman. Kenny was very involved as a youth leader, small bible studies and Church. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his three boys. Kenny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by sons, Jay Lingenfelter of Brainerd, MN, Kirk (Carmen) Lingenfelter of Nisswa, MN and Joel (Tomasena) Lingenfelter of Staples, MN; grandchildren, Deborah (Ross) Moerschell, Danielle Lingenfelter, Emma Lingenfelter, Keaton Lingenfelter, Maddie Lingenfelter, Hudson Lingenfelter, Christian Lambert, Sienna (Mitchell) Reed, Ethan Lingenfelter and Abigail Lingenfelter; great grandchildren, Isaac, Xzavyor and Aloisa; sister, Carol Eibner; Sisters-in-Law Nancy Hogg & Nyla Lingenfelter, and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was preceded in death by parents, Cecil Wayne and Elaine Lingenfelter; wife, Mary Jane Lingenfelter and brother, Wayne Jerome Lingenfelter.
