Kevin Alexander Engebretson

Kevin Alexander Engebretson, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24. Kevin was born in Maywood, Illinois on June 6, 1997. He graduated from Brainerd High School and Central Lakes with an AA degree in Welding.

Kevin was a musician and wrote several songs. He tried out for American Idol and made the first round in Springfield, MO, from there he went on to second round in Chicago. He also worked various places as a welder, a career he loved.

Kevin is survived by his father, Kevin (Vikky) Engebretson; mother, Alexis (Jeffrey Wilcox) Jackson; sisters, Amber Engebretson, Alexa Jackson, Aiyisha (Chris) Long; grandmothers, Mary Cooley-Davis and Ernestine Jackson; grandfather, Robert Engebretson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kevin is preceded in death by his grandfather, Abdul Jameel.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
