Lee William Bachman, age 87, of Brainerd, passed away on Thursday April 10, 2025, at Essentia-St Joseph’s Medical Center. Lee was born in Brainerd to Julius and Sylvia (Bodle) Bachman on September 29, 1937. He married the love of his life, Connie Nelson on April 18, 1959. Together they had three children.
Lee was the founder of Corral Auto in Brainerd. He served his Country in the US Army National Guard for 9 years. He and Connie enjoyed motorcycling and traveled across the United States, in their motorhome. They also spent several winters in Arizona. Lee and Connie were actively involved in square dancing. The Bachman families often gathered together for Jeep rides. Lee liked keeping busy, he could often be found playing with radio control cars and airplanes and shooting guns in the yard.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of almost 66 years, Connie; children, Brian (Cynthia) Bachman, Barbara (Donald Bible) Bachman and Michael Bachman; grandchildren, Paige (Ryan) Wroolie and Alex Bible; great-grandson, Archer Wroolie.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne, Julius and Harold.
A memorial service for Lee will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Oakland Cemetery.
