Linda Fischer

Linda Marie Fischer, age 68 of Staples passed away at her home on Saturday, May 9, 2020. She was born October 4, 1951 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Leona (Luger) and Elmer Scherek. She married Rodney A. Fischer on August 9th, 1969 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Linda loved music and reading. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 50 years, Rodney; son, Ron; daughter, Melissa (John) Zutter; grandchildren, Ryan Emerson, Tanner Fischer, Madi Fischer, Alyssa Draves, McKenzie Draves; siblings, Bill (Melody) Scherek, Judy Barber, Steve Scherek, Jeannine Swanke; also many nieces; and nephews.
