Lois L Jensen

Lois L. Jensen, 91, entered into God’s Kingdom on Saturday June 21, 2025, in Brainerd.

She was born on December 2, 1933, in Brainerd, MN to Earl and Dolores (Hall) Bedal. She graduated from Brainerd High School in 1951. She married Donald Jensen on October 11, 1952, in Brainerd. She was a resident of Brainerd all of her life.

Lois led the Brainerd Ladies Drum and Bugle Corps for many years. She worked at the First National Bank of Brainerd. Lois sang in the Church choir for many years. Lois was the President of the Nisswa Women’s Club for two years. She was a member of Christ Community Church of Nisswa. She has been a member of the Christian Women’s Bowling Association. Lois and her husband traveled each year international and within the United States.

She is survived by three sons, Mark Jensen (Renee) of Nisswa, MN, Jack (Char) Jensen of Grand Coulee, WA, and Scott Jensen of Oronoco, MN; two daughters, Jill (Tom) Vice of Baxter, MN, and Dawn (Tim) Norton of Estero, FL; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Donald G Jensen, her parents Earl and Dolores Bedal; four sisters, Marlos Nerby, Gladys Wilson, June Christofferson and Joyce Turcotte.

Service will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at 11:00am at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Dave Urich officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Camp Ripley.
